I would say, "I like to listen to music."
So “music” is a niche. It helps specify what I like from a pool of other things like games, watching movies, playing sports, reading books, etc.
You could ask me again, "What kind of music do I like?"
I would say I love listening to rock music! This again indicates what I particularly like.
If I decide to start a blog about what I like, the niche can be based on music or specifically rock music (which can be a sub-niche of the music theme).

- Which of these options do you enjoy doing the most? (You may be good at photography, but cooking is your passion. Order the options from question 2 in the order you love them.)
- Of all the options you have from question 3, which options have some demand? (How did you read about it online or in magazines? Do friends and family ask you for help with this? For example, they ask how to get the best lighting for a selfie or how to easily make French toast?)

Amazon affiliate websites are one of the best niches for blogging. However, you can also use them to come up with blogging ideas with other monetization options.
There is a two-way approach to this. although both are similar and have their own advantages.
Approach 1: check Amazon's full store directory
Amazon sells a huge amount of products. is based on multiple categories and can sometimes be difficult for consumers to find.
Hence, the full business directory helps buyers review many sub-categories and choose what they need on a single page.

Whenever I want to start a product or a product category-based website; I always check the Amazon bestseller list.

- Go to Wikihow.com.
- Move the mouse pointer to "Browse" in the header.
- Select the "Categories" tab. This will open a special page listing all of the main categories that Wikihow writes about.
- Scroll through the categories to find the ones that interest you and click on them.
- I will choose "Computers and Electronics" as that interests me.
- Once the page is open, you can view a full list of the articles published on the site on these categories if you prefer. go through them.

Once you've worked your way through the 10 methods above, you must surely have a long list of blogging niches to work on.
This is where confusion creeps in. You might be thinking what to blog about?
Not all of them might interest you and not all of them would be profitable.
Because of this, you need to validate your niche ideas and choose 4-5 ideas on your list that interest you the most.
Picking up a blog niche without checking its potential is the biggest mistake beginners make when blogging.

For this reason, I highly recommend using Google Trends to check your niche before you even start blogging or even register your domain name on it.

2 Use Ubersuggest to find comprehensive article ideas
Ubersuggest is a tool that you will frequently use for keyword research in your blogging career, and it's also a great tool for finding article ideas.
I chose "Gaming Keyboards" as my niche for this tutorial. So I will continue with it.

Check those sites once again and see what monetization strategy they are using.
- Are they using ads on their website?
- What products are they promoting?
- Are they promoting any affiliate offers? Like a course or online service
Remember about Amazon’s Bestsellers list that I asked you to take a rough look?
You can again take a proper look and check popular products within that niche that you can easily promote on your blog.
Same goes for ClickBank.
You get the idea, right?
Moving on, with the help of Google, you can also check various affiliate program related to your niche:
Try queries like “(Your Niche) affiliate programs” or “Best Affiliate program for (Your Niche)” (without quotes).
For example, Gaming Keyboards Affiliate Program or Best Affiliate Program for Gaming Keyboards.

If a lot of things confuse you…
Don’t get hesitant because there are always going to be things that you’ll learn along the way and even master them.
Currently, there are hardly any niches where you can’t make any money from.
Hence my primary suggestion is to go with a niche that interests you rather than focusing first on the money factor.
If you’re a complete beginner then my foremost suggestion would be to get the basics right and focus on traffic building because if you don’t have enough traffic; it’s subsequently hard to make money from your website.
Please note: Give your blog a good 6-8 months before you expect to make some visible income out of it. Blogging isn’t a get quick rich money making scheme, it is a full fledged business.
